A Real Performance Polo, Not A Cotton Shirt With A Collar.
Micropique polyester — the same kind of fabric the shirts behind the pro shop counter are cut from. It pulls sweat off you instead of holding onto it, so the back nine in August feels about like the front. Light at 4.3 ounces. Flat knit collar that stands up on its own for all eighteen instead of going limp by the turn. Pearlized buttons, angled shoulder seams, and enough room through the shoulders to make a full turn. Not that it'll fix the slice.
UPF 50 sun protection is built into the fabric, and that matters more than it sounds. Four hours out there with no shade is four hours of sun on your shoulders and forearms. This handles it without sunscreen streaks all over your collar.
It also will not shrink. Polyester doesn't. Wash it hot, dry it hot, do everything the tag tells you not to — it comes back out the size it went in.
Tidy enough that the starter won't look twice. Comfortable enough that you'll forget you have a collar on. Still looks right at a cookout where nobody's asking about your handicap.

Sizing
True to size, and it runs a touch roomier through the chest than a standard cotton polo. There's no shrinkage to plan around, so order the size you actually wear — no need to size up the way you would with cotton. Between two sizes and you like a little room? Go up.
Care Instructions
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Don't iron directly over the print. No bleach, no dry cleaning.

- Gentle detergent, no bleach, no fabric softener - this cotton is chill, keep it that way
- First wash might bleed a little, so keep it away from your fancy stuff
- Tumble dry low or hang dry (high heat is how a Large becomes a Medium)
- Pull it out of the dryer while it's still warm and it won't wrinkle
- Ironing? Inside out, never straight on the print
